Pg. 18-5 Left Flaperon Step 1: Riveted the Actuation Bracket and Pivot Brackets to the Spar. I oriented the shop heads fwd on the Actuation Bracket since the location of the radius of the leg on the bracket would not allow a flush fit of the manufactured head on the rivet. I installed them with a 2X rivet gun to avoid marring the bracket with squeezer. Step 2: Clecoed and riveted the Main Ribs to the Spar, leaving the 5th and outbd ribs unclecoed. Step 3: Clecoed the Nose Rib Bracket Assy, Inbd Nose Rib, last two Main Ribs and the outbd Nose Rib/Counter Balance Assy to the Spar. Step 4: Riveted the assembled parts to together. Pg.18-6 Left Flaperon Step 1: Clecoed the Outbd and Inbd Flaperon Skins to the Spar after bending the radius at the trailing edges so the skins lie flat on the ribs.
