Brief Description:	Wing strake cutout
The strake has to be cut to open the door. In Canada I can’t put the top on until it gets inspected by the MDRA so I’m going to get the other side done now. I cut out the template for the cut line to see if it would work and yes it would if you spent time working on it. I emailed John Abraham @ Velocity about cutting the stake 6 weeks ago and he told me that they use a laser for this job and yes it worked great. Cynthia got me this laser 5 years ago for Christmas and this is the first job for it. I cut on the line and the door opened as it should. WOW!!! I was looking at this closely to see how it would work and as the door opens it comes ahead due to the forward cut angel. I will cut the top ounce in is attached. I have changed the shop around to work on the Pilot side and will be asking David Squarbrings to help lift the wings on the weekend.
