Strake top skin preparation |

With the assistance of Viki, and a passing person, who was in no way a visitor in these troubled times, and with a Subaru taking the place of Neil's strong arms, flipped the plane again. Destroyed a sawhorse in the process. Maybe it needed castors as well? Filled remaining bending grooves in the strakes with slivers of Last-a-foam and runny micro. Taped the border of the low bit in the starboard strake leading edge, and lathered painfully dry micro into the dip, screeding level with a straight edge. This has left huge divots, but the high points have achieved the profile I want. |
