Time to register the Spodplane, or I lose my reserved VH-CZS. Need a data plate, so made one from some scrap stainless steel. I have a Featherlite manual Landing brake cover I got in a garage sale, but it is too small to use over the electrical actuator. Used it as a pattern to make a new one, over some 1/4" foam sheets I hot wired from some wing foam scraps. hot glued all the bits together until I had a pleasing shape, covered it and the surrounds with box tape, hot glued it into place and used duct tape to make a pleasing transition. 3 x BID overall with 90ml of Norglass resin |
