Turtleback inner taping |
|
|
Unbearably hot in the shed, and Australia burns. Bit more drip rail trimming and profiling of new foam bits. Finished marking taping lines, and started cutting peel ply for transfers. I have noticed some modern earnest builders have precut the internal engine mount BID with a slit in it. Experimented with bits of scrap BID, and think I can cover this corner with one bit, pushed deep into the corner. Each ply will have to go in individually, but I think it is do-able. Cut remaining transfer peel ply and yards of 2" BID tapes. Sanded some nice transitions inside the front turtleback inner repair, marked up the edges and overlaps and cut glass. |
