Brief Description:	Left Aileron installation
Results of measurements and considerations. Inner hinge is fine. Mid hinge has 0.035" gap, plan packing of 4 x UND. Outer hinge has a gap of 0.065" inboard, up to 0.095" outboard. This will need packing of 3 x UND and 3 x BID overall, with additional 1 x UND on outer 3/4, 1/2 & 1/4 outboard side. Looking at the existing plies, the hardpoint and the hinge the BSPQ-43 rivets will be in tolerance despite this packing. (0.126-0.187"). This seems unfeasible, until I realise ALL the other rivet sites are UNDER the stated tolerance. Nice one Burt, I've been considering making a new Aileron for nothing! Applied layup as above to hardpoint locations.
