Nose Cone |

Applied second coat of paster over nose window plug. Drank some Guiness to secure another can for planning the ballast compartment. Cutout NG-31 & dummy NG-32 from 3/8" PVC foam and played with arrangements. No pix, not achieving much at the moment, figger I need to firm up my plans by finally figuring out the method of aiming the landing light. Apparantly it needs to point in different elevations for landing and taxying. I am intending to fly day-VFR, but still need to have a method of aiming it where it works best. Dave B's light has a motor drive, and it suddenly occurs to me a drive from a cars external mirror could do the job. A bit of time on Kitlog and I see Dave B didn't have a electric aimed light, he also is adapting a mirror drive from a VW! Lets go shopping |
