Removed Canard. Despite clamping the forward face of CNL is not flush with F-22, filed it flat, pausing when I thought I was putting in too much heat. Cut excess of rear of CNL with hacksaw, and filed it flat too. Trial fitted Canard and checked alignment/incidence, all is good. Floxed on front Canard mount nutplates, clamped with AN-4 bolts. Big shifting spanner was good to hold the nutplates square while tightening, at the cost of getting flox all over it.
