Landing Brake hardware/MG-2 |

Cut LB-19 and LB-23 (12" long, due to LB-19 being outboard of plans location) on triton. Cut AL slugs for LB-23, sanded, cleaned, alodined and primed (other than mounting surface). I'm going to do this for all aluminium parts, so from no on I'll only say "prepared". 5-min to LB-23, marking centers on drilling side. Prepared LB-18, slightly not as plans, adjusted holes to correct edge allowance, and for 1/4" hole for actuator. Routed fus bottom for Landing Brake. Forgot plan to use travelling box and did edge with sandpaper and multi tool. Routed hole for LB-23. Removed foam for actuator slot, wider and shorter than plans. Decided not to leave MG-2 with attachment pilot holes. Drilled out, reamed to 3/16" and countersunk Cut shims for LB-24 hinge from 0.025" Al flashing. Running out of stuff I can do without next ASS order, still shown as 'Incomplete' :( |
