Flipped the wing again. Clecoed and then riveted the top skin along the main spar and the first 2 rows of rivets. I will wait until after the inspection to complete the final riveting. I also cut and fit the fiberglass wing tip. It fits really nice. I drilled #40 pilot holes for now and will decide if I should install nut plates for easy removal. I am leaning towards riveting with aluminum rivets which would be easy to drill out if needed. However the landing light is good for about 50,000 hours so I probably wont' need access. The last thing I did today was to install the shielded wire into the milky white water line and install the Molex connectors. |
