Building Horizontal Stabilizer |

Well, here goes nothing. My first Homebuilt amatuer kitplane. I have seen many of these at Oshkosh and Sun N Fun, but never thought I would be building one myself. Here we go. I began at the top of the page of 6-1 of the manual with the Rear Spar Assembly. Stopped when I had to rivet the bearing to the two bracket the 9 th step in this rear spar assembly cuz I wanted to watch some riveting videos before diving into this. The project drew blood today when I was grinding the spar reinforcement and the bench grinder and filed the tip of my down nicely. Wasn't to deep and I was wanting to cut my nail anyways. Well, I guess I will just rub some dirt in it and keep (like coach use to say). Fortunately, my EAA Hints for builders videos arrived yesturday. |
