Brief Description:    Finished left tank (baffle and Z brackets)
The last of the time consuming steps on the left fuel tank was finished. As usual, the process took longer than expected. I began by removing every other rivet in the baffle, cleaning the dimple with MEK, dressing the dimple a bit with a countersink deburring tool, dabbing on some proseal and setting the rivet. After all the baffle dimples were complete, I attached the Z brackets sealing each to the baffle surface with a thin coat of proseal.

By the way, I had two of the specified pop rivets snap off with a portion of the shank protrusing above the rivet head. Apparently, this is a common problem based on the Van's Air Force builders forum. Since it was only two rivets on different brackets, I opted to snip the shank off and sealed the rivet heads. After all the brackets were installed, I sealed all the shop heads on the baffle and brackets with proseal.

I sure hope this tank doesn't leak! The only steps left are to install the access plate, the fuel sender, and then leak test.
