Brief Description:	Prepared and primed horiz stab parts
Washed, degreased and prepared horizontal stabilizer skeleton for priming. All parts not coated with pure aluminum are primed (non-alclad). Primed using PPG DX1791/1792 material but not satisfied with results. Switched to Dupli-Color self-etching primer in rattle can. Finish looks better and seems reasonably durable. I plan to go back and check out the PPG primer in more detail. I suspect my results would be improved with different gun pressure, flow rate, or perhaps a needle change. It would help if I already knew how to spray paint.
