Brief Description:    Fabrication of fuel and vent lines in wing root ar
Ok, I got quite a bit of work done on the aeroplane in the last couple days. First, I fabricated a couple brackets that attach a flange on the forward edge of the fuel tanks to the fuselage. These brackets are made from some channel aluminum stock using a band saw, vixen file, various drill bits, a unibit for a 1" hole, and a scotchbrite wheel for polishing edges. Once the brackets were completed they were match drilled to the fuselage and the tank flanges. Next, I fabricated the connecting lines in each wing root for the tank vents and fuel lines. These were made from aluminum tubing and the appropriate AN fittings. Bending, cutting, and putting flanges on these lines was tedious but they are finished and look pretty good. Oh, I installed Edelbrock (sourced from Jegs) fuel filters in both wing roots to ensure fuel source redundancy in the event either filter gets clogged.
