After doing a little test fitting of a dimpled skin with the fiberglass vent I decided to go with either solid or blind rivets (I have both available). The #6 dimple requires countersinking the fiberglass too much for its thickness. I checked and found a supply of number 3 flush head blind rivets if setting solids is too difficult.
