Brief Description:	Repaired fuel pump bracket - part 2
Once the bracket was apart, I began by reforming the basic bracket that wraps around the pump (it was a bit mal-formed). I then fabricated three plates out of fairly thick aluminum sheet. I "sandwiched" the damaged bracket tabs between the plates and riveted the assembly. I wanted the rivets flush on both sides of the plates so they are double-flush riveted. I installed platenuts on basic bracket so it can be attached and/or removed from the fuselage/longeron angle bracket which hasn't been fabricated yet. The finished bracket with a coat of primer is shown below. It is now more sturdy and looks much better.
