Locating some components |
|
|
I am trying to get all the small items purchased so they can be temporarily installed in their final location. I don't want to drill any mounting holes or cut any panels without having the actual components that can be measured. I learned that lesson earlier when I made a fuel gauge panel before the actual gauges arrived (there wasn't enough clearance behind the fabricated panel). Anyway, you see below a 12V power receptacle and some LED indicator lights acquired from a local auto store. I have also ordered a receptacle from Stein to compare. Both receptacles were about $6. The indicator lights are Dorman brand and cost abot $10 ea. These items are among the cheapest components going into this airplane. |
