Brief Description:	Migrated MyKitlog from Win XP to Win 7
I finally decided to acquire some new computer hardware to replace my aging technology. This time I decided to go in towards the high end rather than purchasing "middle of the road" gear and upgrading over time as performance degrades. So, I acquired both a new HP desktop and laptop. The desktop unit has a Quad-Core processor, 6 GB of ram, 1 TB of disk, a high end graphics board with 1 GB onboard memory, and miscellaneous peripherals. The laptop is similar except it has a Dual-Core processor and 500 MB of disk. Both machines have Win 7 Home Premium 64-Bit. The support received from Mr. Matt Dralle of Matronics in migrating my Kitlog software was outstanding both before my decision to buy the new hardware and during the actual installation. I did experience some initial problems but with Matt's timely support, we got the issues resolved without much difficulty. Kitlog is a great package and the Matronics support is excellent. Later I did a search and found Matt's builder website on Kitlog. He built and is now flying an RV-8 and it is incredible. Matt also has a channel on Youtube where he has published a bunch of RV-8 related videos. His sites are worth viewing, trust me. In looking over Matt's Kitlog I noticed he has internet links imbedded in some log entries. I plan to check that out in the event I want to do that in the future.
