Copperstate Fly-In 2010 - Page 4 There was a PB4Y present, probably one of the few B-24 type airframes still flying. This aircraft was configured as a water bomber to fight fires. The big difference between this airframe and the std B-24 is the single vertical stab and the Wright R-2600s versus the Pratts found on the Liberator. A nice B-17G was available for rides and someone brought a very pretty Gull Wing Stinson to the party. Cont'd |
