Ohio Valley RVators UFO - Page 1 Ok, I should be in the shop today but it is perfect flying weather and the Ohio Valley RVators called an impromptu fly-in at Carroll County Airport (eastern Ohio near the Pennsylvania border). So, I got up before dawn, dragged the Archer out, and launched for TSO. The morning was perfect. Got to see the sunrise on a cool, glassy smooth morning flying over green fields. The picture below was taken by my co-pilot on approach to Runway 25. There is a little tree covered hill on the approach end. You can see the changing colors of the leaves. There is a restaurant on the field so it attracts quite a few birds on the weekends when the weather is good. I included some pictures of the more interesting planes, mostly taildraggers. There were, of course, quite a few RVs that are not included here. Cont'd |
