ORIENTATION OF THE MAGNETOMETER IS VERY IMPORTANT. FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURES INSTALLATION INSTARUCTIONS. THE MAGNETOMETER IS MOUNTED ON A SHELF AFT OFF THE AFT PRESSURE BULKHEAD, RIGHT HANDSIDE OFF THE FUSALAGE. 1 Match drill the MAG-3100 magnetometer to the shelf 2 Attach the MEG -3100 tothe shelf using screws, washers, and nuts. 3 Bond the cable tie mounts to the fusalage in a location that will hold the connector in position required by the manufactures instructions, then secure the connector cable. do not kink the cable, ensure all cable bend are larger than 1 " radius.
