The tailwheel is connected to the rudder via a set of chains and springs. This allows the tailwheel to be coaxed into a similar direction as the rudder without having to worry about a direct connection causing the rudder to not move if the tailwheel is tracking a certain direction on the ground. Simple solution that works great.
