The first step in the revitalization of The Flyer was to start mounting all the new equipment. Boxes of note included the VP-200 Control Unit (basically the electrical system in a big Red box), the Dynon EMS (Engine Monitoring System), the new Mode S transponder module, and a few other things. Its kind of amazing, really, how much simpler things are with modern electronics. Still, lots and lots of wires to be added and terminated... |
