Fuselage - External Power Hatch Door & Hinge Fit i |
|
|
Today, I worked the entire afternoon up to 8 PM trying to find a solution to the External Ground Power plug hatch door issueƩ The issue I have been experiencing is the rubing of the fed edge on door on the skin when opening the hatch. I procured a few weeks ago a perfectly made offset hidden hinge door from Aircraft Spruce. After malinga few iteration of the hinge location, and butchering the last skin doubler made, I resolted into making a new one. This allowed me to move the hatch hinge about half inch fwd. With the new doubler in place, the hatch door rubbing issue is now resolve. I now need to make a another doubler final version and a new hatch door. I also worked for a few minutes on the rudder pedal assembly. I found a way with thin washer to limit the side play on the master cylinder. |
