Brief Description:    Fuselage - MOD - Bulkhead F866B Access Hatch
Today, I contined working on my fuselage mods prior to disassembly.

Last November 28, 2015, I had modified the bulkhead F866B to provide avionic access through the front baggage area. I was not satisfied with the modification done then, and discarded it.

This afternoon, using a new replacement bulkhead, I started working on a new modification design. This design will not be a door with an hinge, but a hatch panel screwed to bulkhead instead.

Much like past November, my first task was to make a cutout in bulkhead F866B. This time, the cut-out was made a little smaller to take account of the future doubler. I took my time, and use only hand tools to ensure more accuraccy over speed of execution. Overall, I have a nicer, better made cut-out that the first time I did this 10 months ago.
