Fuselage - FWD and AFT Throttle fitting |

This afternoon and this evening, I continued my project to install a aft throttle quadrant connected with the fwd quadrant. So far, it proved to be a lot more work than I had anticipated. The main achievement for today were: - Fitted the fwd quadrant in place inside aircraft -Modified the F8114 aft throttle quadrant support plate by cutting the flange unncessary for the model of aft throttle quadrant I am using. Deburred the part after cutting flange and some corners - Fitted the aft quadrant on F8114, and use temporary washers to make spacers in order to push the quadrant outboard as required - Made the connecting rod between the quadrants per DWG OP-2 - Fitted the connecting rod to the aircraft, and test fitted it. I do have interference to correct Same as the fwd quadrant, the aft quadrant bezel sits too low, below the intercoastal. This is inappropriate. I will try to correct this situation before making final interference check with structure. Also, I will try to shorten the throttle arm above the bezel to avoid pilot hand interference with structure when throttle reach mid point. |
