Brief Description:    Fuselage - FWD Floor rework completion
As of today, I had only about 4 rivets left to install to complete my fwd floor assembly. In order to install those, I needed a corner drill to get in this tight spot where F802M, F802L and F836 join together. I had hoped to borrow Fred's corner drill but he couldn't lend it to me this time. Well, in order to stop having delays, I decided to order one from Aircraft Spruce on Wednesday. It was delivered to me this morning while I was on the phone doing a job interview....

This evening, I went to the shop and got my four holes drill. Then I installed the rivet. It was easier than I expected, using an offset snap. I asked Dad to help me buck one rivet, but as always, everytime I use the rivet gun, he jumps in the air, releasing pressure on the bucking bar, resulting with a bad rivet to remove...Thanks Dad, another one to replace because of your nervousness !

I am pretty happy to report that my fwd floor is now finally completed. Now back to the business of building this RV-8 fuselage !
