Fuselage - Starting Mid Fuse Side Skin & Structure |
|
|
With the seat rib/seat floor sub-assembly initial pre-fit much completed, I turned momentarily my attention to Mid Fuse Side Skin and Structure Assy (ref DWG 69, instruction pages 8-18 & 8-19). This day I did on this structure sub-assy: - For the F805E-1 LH and RH Rudder cable support, I drill full size hole #40 for nutplate rivets, and countersink those holes. - Instruction mentions opening holes full size for plastic grommet in F805A-1 and F806A-1 required for static line, but does not mention size. I did a bit of reseach before taking decision to open holes dia 7/16" for snap busing. I open first the holes dia #30 to dia 1/4", then used Unitbit drill. - I drilled then all the dia #30 holes in F805, F806 and F806 frames and intercoastal, and deburred them - Same for F805G and F806F gussets Following this, I started thinking about my way forward with the fuselage assembly. I decided not to continue working on the Mid Fuse Structure at this time, but to back track and finalize other previous sub-assy now that I have received replacement parts On that day, I worked from 16h45 until 18h00, then from 19h30 until 21h30 no pics |
