This Friday evening, returning to work after that session with my uncle Jean-Louis, I turned my attention to more fitting parts on seat floor assemblies. I did: a) For the Aft Control Mount Support F837-1 - Match drill dia #12 the Aft Control mount support F837-1 with the Floors F829-1, F830-1 and F831-1 plus the inboard seat rib F814A-1 L/H and R/H - Removed the parts and deburred the holes - Using my nutplate jig, I added the holes dia #40 in F814A-1 L/H and R/H for the nutplate K1000-3 to be installed at a later time (ref DWG 77, detail B) NOTES: Due to bolt hole dia #12 being larger than the pilot pin dia #19 on nut plate jig, one set of nutplate river hole dia #40 was drilled with an angle relative to the axis line of F814C-R-1. This error was esthetical only, and it was deemed acceptable at the time. Nevertheless, the angle F814C-R-1 was eventually replaced, and those holes were redrilled in line and perfect. b) Rear Seat Hinge final fit: - open holes full size dia #30 - Create a 0.025" thick spacer shim to level hinge on floor F831-1 relative to Floor F830-1 c) F830-1 and F831-1 Floor assembly: match drill all dia #40 holes common with underfloor angles I worked from 19h00 until 21h30 |
