Brief Description:	Called Van's to order next kit
Don't exactly remember the date, but I know in early October 2013, I called Van's to ask some questions about ordering my next kit, either wings or fuselage. It turned out that when I told Van's I purchased a tail from another builder, I was told I needed to demonstrate that I have full custody of this tail prior to Van's assigning me serial number #80414 to my name. Therefore, I couldn't order my next kit until I provide Van's with full paper work, and a waiver from the original kit owner, not from the empennage builder. That made things a little more complicated for a moment. I contacted Dale Lamport, who in turn contacted Ron McEwen, the original empennage kit owner. Ron reponsed to me with a e-mail waiver on October 26, 2013 A few days later on October 31, I lost my employment....and suddently ordering a RV-8 kit was momentarily out of questions for many months....
