After having had the engine ground strap issue a few weeks ago I was curious to get an actual measurement of the resistance from the crankcase to the firewall so I started today off by putting a meter between the engine and the firewall. It read less than 1 ohm. Next I fabricated the 6 F-7116 bushings required for the seat belt installation and then installed the seat belts. Following this I installed the right flight control control stick. I also installed the "Passengers Prohibited" placards for the flight test peroid. Then I took the readings of the flight control deflections for the final inspection requirements. Lastly I experimented with putting material under the main gear tires to lift the main gear to attain a longitudinally level fuselage in preparation for conducting the weight and balance for the aircraft. I determine I require 2.25 inches under the main gear tires to have the fuselage level.
