In the morning I sanded then repainted areas of the engine cowling, main gear leg upper intersection fairings and VS to HS fairing. In the afternoon I worked on the engine cooling plenum. Further iterations were required in the aft left corner area to improve the fit. Also to seal the plenum chamber better I fabricated and installed a filler strip on the forward left baffle to close the gap with the plenum. Then with the plenum installed I sealed around the forward crankcase to plenum interface area. While working on the plenum the postman delivered my repaired exhast pipe from Larry Vetterman. With the pipe in hand I reinstalled it, drilled a new EGT probe hole, lower this time, removed and deburred the pipe, reinstalled it and final torqued the entire exhaust system.
