Another day of this and that to finish up prior to taking the aircraft to the airport. I started by removing the wheel fairings, gear leg fairings and gear leg upper intersection fairings. Next I fabricated a mount for the fire extinguisher bracket, installed the bracket and the extinguisher. Then I carried out the sun shade installation on the canopy. Next I installed the BNC connectors on the fuel quantity indication system harness. Following this I riveted the compass deviation card holder to the instrument panel. To finish up for the day I installed wing securing hardware on the wing cradle in order to hold the wings securely in the cradle during transportation to the airport.
