Today I sanded the intersection fairing to main wheel fairing interface and then microballooned the interface to get a smooth flowing transition between the two. Next I mounted them on the gear leg, drilled all the various holes to final size followed by riveting on of the nut plates. I also worked on the nose wheel fairing; bonding on a filler strip on the top leading edge of the aft fairing section. |
