My brother Bernie came by to help. We started by disassembling the canopy components and fabricating from stock the C-725, C-728 and C-729 canopy lift strut mounting components as the C-725 forward lift strut mount attaches by screws through the Wd-716 forward canopy frame and C-702 skin. Then we match drilled the C-725 mount to the canopy frame and skin and deburred, dimpled and countersunk as required. With that complete we riveted the C-702 skin to the Wd-716 forward canopy frame followed by riveting of the canopy frame stiffener to the under side of the Wd-716 canopy frame and C-702 forward canopy skin. Since I had a riveting partner we also riveted the gascolator firewall doubler to the firewall. We rapped up the day by checking and adjusting the canopy latch side handle installation.
