I started out today by fabricating the C-723 spacer wedges that go below the C-613 splice plates. Then I began drilling to final size all the holes that had been as per the plans drilled under sized initially. With everything drilled to final size I disassembled everything, deburred, edge finished, dimpled and countersunk the various items as required. Finally I revisited the canopy side latch mechanism. I fabricated a new C-609 lever because the hole for the lever knob retaining screw had turned out poorly.
