Over the weekend I installed some more platenuts for the empanage fairnig. I need to order some one legged platenuts for the fasteners at the ends. Then tonight I drilled the firewall for the engine mount. The manual says not to simply drill the tool holes, but to line up the mount first then drill as needed. I leveled and centered the mount then drilled one hole at a time. After each hole was drilled the mount was removed, the hole deburred and the mount re-centered and leveled. As it turns out, the mount cetered perfectly on the tooling holes!
