The VS spar doubler, the rear spar and the elevator hinge brackets were clecoed together. The hinge brackets were match drilled except for the corner holes on the lower VS-410 bracket. These holes will be drilled later when assemblying it with the fuselage. The ribs, VS-704, 705, 706, and 707 were prepped by finishing the edges, and straightening the ribs by fluting the flanges. The ribs were then clecoed to the front and rear spars and all the spar to rib attach holes were match drilled. The VS skin was then attached and match drilled .
