Brief Description:    Riveting up rudder
Corrected any last naughty rivets on the rudder skin and had to use, for the first time, two oops rivets that I bought in a set from Aircraft Spruce, worked a treat and a really clever idea.

After that it was onto the RTV as recommended in the plans to apply to the trailing edge of the stiffeners. I also applied it to the leading edge of the stiffeners as I had read on Vans Airforce this is actually where the cracks have originated from.

Then started to rivet up the rudder with the squeezer, very satisfying. Got a couple of problems, two rivets were meant to be 4s but set 3.5s so those have to come out, two rivets need to be hand set but too late for that now and one blind rivet mandrel broke half way for some unknown reason (noting that I have set thousands before on a Zenith XLB model before). Leaving it for tomorrow but progress!
