Left lower and auxilliary longeron drilling |
|
|
This was hard work and my back was aching for awhile after this! The lower left longeron and left auxilliary longeron were drilled in place through the F-820-L-1 skin. A drill cup is a must to keep the drill bit straight. Lots of pressure and lube. Surprisingly, I went through a number or #30 bits. I got a recent supply of small ones from ACS for this purpose. You need to ensure that the rivet witness line on the auxilliary can be seen through the skin holes. A little adjustment was need to make this happen. |
