No pictures worth taking tonight. I spoke with fellow RV-8 builder Kent Scherm last night and wanted to borrow some rivets and nutplates that I ran out of for the wing tips. After I got off the phone with Kent, I realized that I screwed up!!!! Instead of putting K1000 nutplates on, I put K1100 nutplates on!! ARGHHH Obviously the back end of teh reinforcement strip wasn't dimpled and I countersunk the fibreglas, so why did I do it? Drilled out 40 rivets and removed the K1100 nutplates on. No damage. I'll be putting my order into ACS tomorrow for the additional 76 K1000's I need for the wing tips.
