Scotchbrited and cleaned up the reinforcement strips and rough up the area of teh fivreglass for bonding. Brought the work into the warm basement where the epoxy can setup properly. I mixed up the resin and hardener, mixed it well and then used a foam brush to apply the epoxy to the roughed up fibreglass surface. The strips were put in place with clecoes, the I clamped it all down and removed the cleoces. Repeated the process for the the other side as well. Once cured, I'll rivet on the nutplates.
