I finished installing the door seal on both doors, it looks and works GREAT!! With both door seals installed, I climbed inside closed both doors and marked with a pencil the perimeter where the seal material ends. this is so that I can trim back the upholstery panels so that when they are installed they won't project too far and interferr with the door closing. Then I removed the copilot door and went to work strengthening it in the same manner that I did th epilot door panel yesterday. Same process, several staggered lay-ups of 6 oz glass on the upright/vertical portions of the panels, and the sand/carve a foam block (1/2" thick), tape it to the bench w/ duct tape, Apply 6 ply lay-up to it, cure w/ lights, trim it to size, Attach it to door panel using flox and clecos, cure w/ lights, then sand, and fill and sand and fill............. I need to cut the hole for the door handle and then trim the perimeter to where the pencil scribe lines I drew today indicate.
