Began Preparing the Cabin cover and windows & doors for paint. Sanded all of the joints/seams around all of the 4 cabin/door windows, I wanted to makes sure that what ever fillmaterial I used bonded to the glass and not to the Smooth Prime. This is probably the least fun portion of the whole project, It takes a long time, it's dirty and there's a lot of work before you see any progress/benefit. I queried the Matronics list for suggestions on how to treat the seam between the cabin cover and the fuse skins. didn't get any responses, I don't know if this area is also prone to cracking like the wiindows or not. since I haven't heard of any incidents I suspect not, also the significant number of rivets along the seams probably also aids in eliminating cracks. Nonetheless, I applied a micro/cabosil mix to the perimiter of the door windows, as I'm definately going to add fiberglas around these seams, For the Cabin windows and rivet seams/joints I used a Flox/cabosil and micro mix, mostly flox. I reasoned that if I decide not to add fiberglass to these seams that the flox would mimic the glass better than micro. I'll definately add glass tapes around the windows, but I'm still wondering about the fuse/cabin seams.
