Began work on the Firewall, again it took some time to locate all of the parts, although the parts count is beginning to deminish and the searches are taking less time, Started with the recess box, match drilling countersinking then riveting the edges together. Then on theo the Firewall proper. Deburred the edges of all parts, clecoed them to FW then match drilled. Both #30 (most of the holes) and #40 (nutplates and a couple of attach points), then dimpled the Firewall, just need to be careful about which side the dimples are on. Also, it wasn't clear whether or not to dimple some of the holes that DO get drilled but don't have any parts which attach to them in this section, I looked ahead in the plans and checked a couple of other builder web sites and found out that YES you DO dimple these holes at this point (The plans could have been clearer). The last part was to countersink th eback of all of the parts that attach to the Firewall back side, as the rivets are all flush head. that's it for today, Tomorrow well prime the parts rivet them to the FW and continue on.
