Brief Description:	Removed canopy, installed compass sensor.
Dave and I removed the canopy with some difficulty. Would have helped if I had known enough to remove the gas struts before fiberglassing. Some epoxy ran down behind the paper covering the instrument panel. Now I have to get it off and repaint the panel. A few drips on the floor too. More minor repair work. Decided to install the magnetic sensor in the empennage with the airframe upright, since I had Dave there to hand me parts and tools. Went very smoothly.
