Brief Description:	Welding the left horizontal stab
The caption on this page says "left" horizontal stab, but I guess it doesn't matter :-) A bunch of time was spent getting everything trimmed to length and put in the jig to be ready for welding. This is the first real welding I have done on the project. so it took a little courage to get started. I only did the top side welding today as this was both harder than I thought, and I'm not yet in the groove of knowing how to hold the torch and rod at certain angles depending upon the meeting angles of the tubes and T-25 ribs. It also was a bit of a challenge at first to get the thicker and larger 7/8" up to temperature before the thinner .032 T-25 ribs. It was tiring, actually :-)
