Brief Description:	Pitot Installation
I started to prepare the Pitot for instalation. Note from the Garmin manual: "For heated probe installations where the installer desires to shorten the provided aluminum tubing, a minimum of 8 inches of aluminum tubing should remain between the probe and any transition to non-metallic tubing to protect the non-metallic tubing from excessive heat." You can see from Image 1 that I have allowed at least 9" for the AL tube. Given the clearance shown ion Image 3,I intend to make a small bend outboard to further clearance. I am making the bend outboard to facilitate a loop in tubing for removal at a later date for service if needed.
