Re-enforcing the arm rest is a topic in the forums and builder logs. Apparently if the passenger or pilot uses the arm rest to push up when exiting the airplane it can be bent. I decided this was a risk worth mitigating. I chose to use some leftover j-channel from the aft fuselage for this purpose (at least I hope it was leftover..). The j-channel fits very well to the arm rest, is stiff, and light wieght.
No matched holes so I had to lay it out and dril all the holes. I matched the rivet count on the arm rest to side skin and used the rivet fan to lay out the spacing.
I completed the prep on these parts so they are ready for clean up, primer, and paint now.
