Brief Description: Right Aileron assembly and Drilling
I only needed to finish match drilling the steel aileron brackets on the right side so I did that first today. Like the left side, I included the nose rib and aft skin rib in the assembly and match drilling. The plans call for priming the spar and doublers at this point and then riveting them together, but I decided to keep going with the assembly and drilling. I pulled out the previously riveted aft skin assembly and nose skin and clecoed everything together. I forgot to include the counter weight pipe in the assembly, but that turned out to not be a problem. After match drilling everything, I disassembled the leading edge and added the pipe. I then match dilled the leading edge to pipe holes and nose bracket to pipe holes.
